Welcome to the Sanctuary of Machnava, a website that includes writings from Tyler E. Trosper, me. The website is in no way meant to boast my own writings, but to get direct feedback and criticism. I love to write, but the only way I can get good is by getting quality constructive criticism. Please and thank you. I hope you enjoy my writings.
UPDATES:
10/1/10: Oh wow, over a year since I updated this thing? Well, I haven't added any writings, because I haven't written anything worth mentioning. That and I'm slightly embarrassed to even have these past stories up here because of how bad they are. But I digress. I have updated the site with the games I have created using the Ren'Py visual novel engine. It is a very good program that I highly recommend to people who are interested in creating visual novels, dating sims, etc. Information on Ren'Py can be found here: Ren'Py.
7/15/09: Oh holy crap, I updated! I added a new story, called Farewell to Knowledge, but I'm not sure if I'm serious with it or not and it may be absorbed by current project, so I stuck in it Those Who Long For Death (Working Title)'s section. I also included a terrible drawing of mine of two of the main characters from Those Who Long For Death (Working Title), Elysius and Tartum. And as always, I yearn for constructive criticism, so help me out, please?
5/25/09: I put Those Who Long For Death back up. It was pigheaded of me to take it down, thinking it would be good enough in this state to publish or anything. I need help, so that's why I will at least put a few chapters up on here. I also put up Chapter 3 while also bringing back the others. Enjoy and help me out, please?
5/24/09: Started putting up Kiyoshi Oni. I'll probably have it all up before I go to sleep. I removed my current story. I thought of using this as more of an archive for old stories of mine. That and I guess I want to be secretive about it, since you never know, I could attempt to publish it. (AHAHAHAHAHA!)
5/20/09: Tweaked the first chapter of Those Who Long For Death (Working Title) and added the second chapter. I'm looking for some feedback on this one, since it kind of dips in quality, in my opinion. I removed some info from the first chapter and placed it in this one. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. :)
5/19/09: All of Murder of the World has been added to the site. Also, a teaser to a story I'm working on right now, Those Who Long For Death (Working Title), has been added, which includes the prologue and the first chapter. Any help in regards to this story would be helpful! I've been making some corrections. After some advice, I intend to move some of the information given in the first chapter into the second in order for the pace to stay smooth. Also, I will be writing more to help add more depth at the end of the first chapter.
5/18/09: The site is brand spanking new, so it'll probably be awhile until it is fully on its legs. I'll start by placing Murder of the World on here, then maybe Kiyoshi Oni, and then start adding my new story as it comes along. I probably will not add the stories I wrote back in eighth grade and below, since they are terrible even to today's standards.
So far, only the first three chapters of Murder of the World have been added.
